Save the Date Announcement

We are happy to announce the Mpowerment Summit 2016. This meeting will be an opportunity for all of the CBOs funded under CDC’s 15-1502 FOA who are implementing Mpowerment (MP) to meet with the MP National Advisory Board (NAB), the original UCSF MP researchers and Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) providers, and other MPs from across the county.

The focus will be on enhancing MP implementation in the High Impact Prevention era—namely incorporating PrEP and engagement in HIV healthcare into MP.  As you probably know, we’ve done a lot of work in that area already, and many MPs are doing great things, but we haven’t had the opportunity to come together formally to discuss best-practices and to share innovative thinking.

We believe that MP coordinators and/or supervisors will gain the most from this summit.

We have secured a block of downtown San Francisco hotel rooms and meeting space at UCSF on April 27-28, 2016.  Hotel rooms are available at Hotel Whitcomb for $139/night + tax.

We are excited about hosting this meeting and look forward to hearing from you!
